Here's Teresa May on R4's Today programme (around 3.10) explaining that the Tories are allied with virulent homophobes in eastern Europe for the simple reason that they share the same views about the future of Europe.
Nice to have that particular political pecking order explained: the Tory party is fully supportive of the rights of gay people until passport control at Dover.

But I thought the Polish party was in favour of the Lisbon treaty but.. Oh never mind the contortions of the Tories on Europe are entertainment enough. As for the homophobia of their nice new friends well, did the old Tory adam in them ever go away?
